My GOTV is hanging every now and then. It is not like that since last year I bought it. Has anyone have such an experience, if yes, how did solve the problem.

It is the signal strength or signal quality going too low. Signal strength should be at least 40% ,then you won't experience the buffering.
Solution is to change the direction of your antenna towards the place where there's no form of blockage like buildings .

Where the antenna is mounted, there is no blockage. Since I mounted the antenna last year such a thing has not been happening until now
