A group, the Ekiti Network Alliance, ENA has described Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo as one who has the right qualities and also the most qualified candidate for the APC gubernatorial nomination.

The group said fielding Ojo as APC gubernatorial candidate will ensure victory for the party in the gubernatorial election scheduled to hold on Saturday 18 June 2022.

The group in a statement made available to the press on Monday by its Chairman, Ezekiel Fagbemi, and Secretary, Akinleye Idowu submitted that Ojo becoming the next governor of the state would allow him to put his multifaceted experience to good use and change the face of Ekiti state.

The group urged members of the ruling APC in Ekiti state to ensure that Ojo wins party nominations during the forthcoming gubernatorial primary election.

Apart from having the experience and skills to meet the demands of the office of the governor, ENA noted that Ojo also has a profile that justified the decision to endorse him for governor.

The group added that any party member who peruses a written account of Ojo’s personal details will agree that there was a need for everyone to make a strong case for why party members should vote for him during the gubernatorial primary election.

‘Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo, who was born on August 1, 1970, hails from Ikoro Ekiti, Ijero Local Government area of Ekiti state.

He attended the Government College, Ibadan, and the Federal Government College, Idoani.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Technology of Akure in July 1991.

He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Engineers and the Nigeria Association of Corrosion Engineers. He has also gotten COREN Certificate.

Engr. Kayode Olubunmi Ojo is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of SALTA Infrastructure and Construction Company Limited. As the CEO of SALTA, He grew the company from Zero to an enviable multibillion naira infrastructure and Construction Company in less than five years with the Company Executing major acquisitions of Companies in the United States, Trinidad, and Tobago as well as in the UAE.

Engr. Kayode Olubunmi Ojo is a man of the people and a people person.

He is also a founding partner of Atlas International Engineering Services (Nig) Limited, a company he serves as Executive Director, Business and Technical Development.

Under his stewardship, Atlas became one of the major Indigenous Engineering Oil and Gas companies with a Multimillion-dollar project brief with International Oil and Gas Companies.

Over the past 26 years, he has served in numerous capacities for various Oil and Gas Companies in Nigeria and the USA.

He is the President and CEO of Riserclad International Inc, (Part of SALTA Group) Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Houston, Texas, USA, and Atlas International Consulting Inc, Houston, Texas, USA.

He also serves as Non-Executive Director of Cogent Energy SA, Geneva, Switzerland as well and Executive Director of Atlas Technical Services Ltd, a Technical Manpower Supplier to the Oil and Gas as well as other Energy Production Companies.

Through his foresight and by using his companies, Engr. Kayode Ojo is a shareholder in Pioneering indigenous petroleum exploration production companies including Seplat Petroleum Nigeria Limited and Platform Petroleum Nigeria Limited as well as Midwestern Oil and Gas Limited, a company he is currently processing its divestment.

Engr. Kayode Ojo though lives in Lagos and also had to undertake numerous trips Locally and Overseas which has taken him to more than 50 countries around the world and over 30 States in the country, he, however, visits Ekiti state regularly to have in-person interaction with his father, High Chief (Dr) J A Ojo, friends and family members ditto his political family.

He has participated actively in various Ekiti Day celebrations and activities across the state making cash and material donations available.

He believes in a financially independent Ekiti State with human capital development considered as key to developing a prosperous and egalitarian Ekiti State.

He has employed and trained numerous Ekiti State indigenes and has over the years advised, assisted, and mentored many others in their various career path without making such public.

Engr. Kayode Ojo loves to watch TV, particularly Channels TV and CNN, He enjoys playing football.

He is the Life Patron of Corporate Football Club, Lekki Lagos (CFC).

The guy is very popular and generous in Ekiti but I doubt if Fayemi wants him as successor
