AWKA MONARCH EXTENDS YEARLY CHRISTMAS LARGESS TO OPHANAGES


His Imperial Majesty Obi Austine Ndigwe, Eze Uzu Awka 3rd, The Traditional Ruler of Awka Ancient Kingdom in Anambra State has extended his usual yearly Christmas largess to orphanage Homes in his Kingdom.


Making the Presentation which include a cash of #100,000 each, over 30 Cartons of noodles and Marconi, bag of clothes for the orphaned children in Tender Love Orphanage Home Awka and Model Community children Homes Ifite Awka.


His Imperial Majesty Eze Uzu Awka stated that Christmas is a season of love and it behoves on all to remember the poor, needy and children in orphanage Homes and Support them by giving them hopes and reasons to Celebrate in this Christmas season.


The revered Monarch called on the members of the public to always remember the orphanage Homes and Support them, he restated that it is customary for him to extend Christmas largess to his subjects annually including the needy. He promised to sponsor a medical outreach to the children in the homes.


Receiving the items on behalf of Tender care orphanage home, Mrs Eze Helen Obi, The Matron of the home thanked his Imperial Majesty for constantly remembering the home, she recalled that his imperial majesty was in the home three months earlier to Celebrate with them.


She led the children who offered prayers to God in behalf of the revered Monarch praying God to grant him long life, good health and peace in his kingdom.
