Messi and Ronaldo are once in a lifetime talent. MIkel is a great footballer, but there was no way he would have come close to Messi, even if he tried 500% harder.

Messi is basically Maradona and Pele level (some say even better). That he and Ronaldo have never won a world cup has to do with the fact that there hasn't been a national team raised by their countries good enough to play with them
