Did you know Rinkhals are not Cobras? I know they look and behave like Cobra by turning their neck into a hood but Rinkhals differs from Cobras. The venom of Rinkhals are diluted and not many deaths have been reported from Rinkhal bites. Rinkhals give birth to live young eggs while Cobras lay eggs. Rinkhals have kneel scaled skin while Cobras skin are smooth. Rinkhals belong to the Genus- Hemachatus while Cobras belong to the Najas. Rinkhal is not a Cobra but they still belong to the same family of Elapids .. 1 Like

These Rinkhals can spit venom into your eyes and cause blindness. Snakes are not animals you can play with if you are not an expert. |

Am not scared of Snakes biting me. The thing that scares me the most about Snakes are these spitting cobra Snakes. Snakes that spit venom into your eyes and make you blind. 1 Like |
