They are paid more because they have higher skill. There is no profit in hiring expatriates and paying theme more if Nigerians would give the same value.
I can bet it you never work in Indian, Chinese or Lebanese coys in Nigeria. Asians coys are not interested in the skill of the so called expatriates they are bringing to Nigeria, they are after repatriation of some of their profits back to their country. I am talking from experience, the so called expatriates will come with zero experience on the job and will be trained by Nigerians

A foreigner is paid $3000 ( ₦1,233,600 ) per month. while a more qualified Nigerian is paid ₦90, 000 per month in Nigeria...

that means the monthly salary of 1 foreigner can employ an additional 12 Nigerians who are paid ₦90, 000 per month...

you say we have to many poor people yet to be worried about " few jobs these foreigners take"... from the above explanation, the foreigners are the ones making sure Nigeria has many poor people because by bringing in these foreigners they are helping the foreign countries by reducing the foreign countries unemployment situation while increasing Nigeria's unemployment situation which leads to poverty.

No company will like to overpay salaries when they can get same value at a lower amount. I bet you there must be some special values these companies are getting from their foreign workforce.

They are scared that Nigerians will loot their companies dry, so they put the management in the hands of expatriates. That is why we have lots of expatriates around in Nigeria . Many Nigerian management staff cannot be trusted . Simple.

Not when the foreigners share the same ethnicity as the C.E.O of the company..

Overpaying is not a problem as long as the company continues to make profits.

It's not about getting the special value it's about empowering their countrymen.

One important way to reduce unemployment is by attracting foreign investors. No matter how many foreign workers they employ they must directly or indirectly create jobs for the locals and pay taxes on top. So lets look at the big picture and not let tribal instincts control us.

Foreign investors who ensure majority of their employees are foreigners are not reducing unemployment they're increasing unemployment..

Foreign investors take the profits back to their country.. profits are always higher than taxes..

taxes are crumbs compared to profits.. which means taxes are lower than profits.

I wonder where you learn your economics from. Direct employment is not the only way to gain from foreign investment. Do these foreigners not live in nigeria? Do they not spend their money in nigeria?
