Ogun would have profited so much from this. embarassed

And the congestion and environmental stress would have gladly been removed from Lagos.

I dislike this man called Dapo Abiodun, so that’s the reason he sabotaged the GTBANk project?

Why do we need a new industry in the state? What is the essence of the INDUSTRIES we have in the state that is not even having any positive effect in the state?

Let’s ask him what he has done with the revenues other industries are generating in the state

Is Ogun State now exploring for crude oil too in these days when the world is trying to move away from crude oil?

He should take advantage of the nearness of Ogun to Lagos, develop a better housing scheme and perhaps an efficient transportation to link these places to Lagos through a joint party venture with Lagos State government.

What was the disagreement they had? They article did not say, so, it will be wrong to start blaming the Amosun administration say because $ is involved without the knowledge of what caused the disagreement.

They all go back to Lagos after their tenure and leave the state to survive with new administration..

Thanks for stating clearly the key issue: Abiodun's claims are not worth taking seriously without that extra bit of information. There is such a thing as a bad deal, and for all we know Dangote might have been demanding something so outrageous no decent governor would have gone along with it (e.g. being allowed to freely pollute sources of drinking water without consequences).

Abiodun is playing a dishonest game of releasing partial information to mislead the public, all in the hope of making his own lackluster governance look better. So far, the only thing I've seen him establish since becoming governor is confirming that the whole idea of rotating governance between "zones" is every bit as stupid as I expected it to be, because it allows for the elevation of mediocrities like Dapo Abiodun all in the name of giving people the right to say "na our son dey there".

Exactly - it's as if most Nigerian politicians had never heard of the "resource curse", or the devastating environmental consequences of oil production. You know a politician is without brains or vision when he or she starts openly making ridiculous wishes about oil production, even as young Nigerians are founding billion-dollar startups that stand to earn more than all of Nigeria makes from oil. We have Elon Musk claiming he will pay $11 billion in taxes next year, more than all 36 Nigerian states get in federal allocations combined, yet dimwits like Buhari and Abiodun still don't get that the future lies in highly educated people working on advanced technology.
