Cameroon is leaving Nigeria behind because you see stadium? Some of you are despicably mad. The economy of Akwa Ibom alone is just a bit lower than that of Cameroon. Una go just dey open una yeye mouth.

We need to do away with this northern Nigeria. Truly if they divide this nation, south won't be the same class with the north

The National Stadium Abuja IS definitely a world class stadium, with a 60,000 seater capacity, and it just had a renovation completed less than a month ago!

You should keep up with the positive news in Nigeria, not just the negative.

MKO Abiola stadium to host FIFA matches ― Minister
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/12/mko-abiola-stadium-to-host-fifa-matches-%E2%80%95-minister/

u see the problem of Nigeria we do accustomed to bad news , infact if a positive news is released,we find errors in it ,,,,,,,,,, and it's very very bad ,we need to always celebrate our own yearly or monthly acheivemnet,,most Nigeria are very fast to judge other nations because of the beautiful structure they see on tv ,like say they too don't have their own challenges ,,

cheesy

Here is a harsh truth...those stadiums would be out of date, and in terrible shape in the next ten years.Infact, that stadium is an example of a white elephant project...of the kind that the World Bank criticizes us for routinely.

The thing is, it is one thing to build a stadium, it is another thing to keep it well maintained...and Cameroon, like most African countries, does not have the cash to maintain a stadium.

Also, most states don't have the income to build world class...that's for you comparing a whole Anambra with a country.

All the nice stadiums you see in England and elsewhere...a ticket to watch a match there costs money...ie 10000 naira or above for 'popular side'. If we charged prices like that for matches in Aba, Enugu, Lagos, Kaduna and Kano, you people will cry 'poverty'

Look, stop mocking your country. The stadium you see...there is one in Abuja, and two in Lagos like it. And one in Uyo.

But if you want world class...then you need to vote a government that would raise money to fund a budget of 50 trillion naira or more...then we can talk.

Or you must be ready to pay N12000 for popular side at Enyimba stadium in aba to watch the Enyimba play Kano PIllars...because that's how serious countries raise money for stadiums...by taxing their supporters in essence.(That's how Arsenal built emirates stadium...it was not by sponsorship alone...it was partly raised from ticket sales.)

stadiums are measured by capacity.

Akpabio's is not more beautiful than this. They are similar in terms of beauty

Wembly stadium has an outstanding engineering design and beauty to behold and u wont compare it to these ones. Wembly roof operates on the principle of bicycle spokes/wheel.

Camp nou is huge, being big takes a lot of money because it will require a lot more rods and other structural materials.

People especially from South West hate developments in other regions of the country.

You instead prefer a township stadium in another country to a world class stadium in your country, just because it's not situated in South West.

Please compare this photos and reply.

Una just de open mouth like idiots to castigate Nigeria at any slight chance. Some of u are even worse than the idiots ruling this country. Let's be real 4 once,,, what have u as a citizen contributed to move this country forward? All we do is to go to the social media and rubbish the country over an insignificant structure like a stadium.
