Go to http://play.google.com/store in your browser, or type “http://play.google.com/store” into the address bar.
In the upper-right corner of the website, click the sign in button.
Click Next after you’ve provided the Email Address associated with your Android user.


NOTE: To use this function, you must first create an email address and link it to your computer.



After you’ve entered your password, click Sign in.
Search for “linksys software” on Google Play.
Select the Linksys software installation from the drop-down menu.
The best option is to install.
Before you begin the installation, make sure your Android device is connected to the Internet.
The Linksys app on your computer will be activated shortly, and you will be alerted. Then, on the next screen, press the OK button.
NOTE: This will start the Linksys software installation on your device.

Follow the instructions to setup primary node:

You will see a link saying launch setup. Click on that link to begin the setup.
Then it will ask you to access the location of the device. Enable this function.

Connect the primary node to the modem using Ethernet cable. It will automatically start building the connection for you.
Look at the LED light till it turns purple. Click next.
Create an account by entering the email address and password. By using these credentials you can actually manage your Linksys Velop network.
Log in to the Linksys Velop dashboard using the same credentials.
Enter the network and password to connect to the network. Click next.
You can now select a name for primary node. Click next. It is up to you if you want to setup further nodes now or after some time. Select the option accordingly.
The primary node is setup and ready to use.
Adding secondary node to the primary node
Follow the instructions given below to add another node to the first one:

Go to Linksys velop app. Select menu and click on set up a new device.
Add nodes and place node in an open area.
It will automatically connect to the new node and same LED will turn to purple.
Add a name for the device and click next. Node is installed and ready to use.

The internet connection has gone down.

On the Linksys smart WiFi login page, you may get a notice that reads Internet Connection is down. It occurs when the velop is unable to locate the internet connection from the DSL or cable provider. You can try logging into the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi interface with a default password, such as admin.

The velop is missing-

This error message appears when your Linksys cloud account is unable to detect your velop while you are logged in. Then click next after following the instructions on the error screen.

The velop is not configured.

This error message appears when you repeatedly click the Retry icon when the velop’s error message is not found. Another cause is that your velop needs to be reset. Set up your velop as instructed in the prompt. “I understand that my network is currently open and not secure,” check the box. I’d like to use my Linksys Smart Wi-Fi account to adjust the security settings on my velop.” Then click the next button.

Suspended account-

When you’ve tried numerous times to get into your Linksys velop account and failed. “Account Suspended” is the error message that shows. Before attempting to address this issue again, wait at least 2 hours.

How can I solve the error of Linksys Velop not Connecting?
Follow the steps if you’re having trouble with the above-mentioned issue.

Go to the Linksys website.
It will prompt you for your username, which is ‘admin.’
Select ‘CA’ from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.
Look for the network options by clicking on the ‘Connectivity option.’
From the connection menu, select ‘Wireless’ and then ‘Save.’
After that, open ‘Velop Setup’ and apply the modifications.
Enter the SSID as well as the password. Select ‘create a node’ from the drop-down menu.
You must now choose the Parent node, the Password, and the Set the Name of Node-1 options.
After clicking ‘Ok,’ double-check the network connection. You will be able to connect to the internet on your client devices once the SSID has been successfully set.
To add more Nodes, press and hold the ‘Additional Nodes’ button until the purple light blinks.
The purple light blinking indicates that a new node is being set up.
If the option on the screen turns greyed out, your nodes have been successfully registered, and data is now simply transmitted from the Primary node to the other nodes. Purple light will appear on the rest of the nodes once the signals have reached them.
If you want to join the primary and secondary nodes, you can do so using an Ethernet wire, which will flash blue light. Because the secondary node is successfully connected to the primary node after the blue light becomes consistent, you can move it as needed.
