My hubby is suffering an eye issue which he suspects to be Computer Vision Syndrome. He has visited hospitals even a teaching hospital and he was given a glass n eye drop but it seems not to go away.
Symptoms are
Blur vision
Water sometimes comes out of d eye
He has a feeling as if something is in d eye


Pls if you have any suggestions I would appreciate pls

Dogoyaro leaf boil and drink the water. Very bitter Sha but it's Worth it.

Secondly, garden egg, the white one not the regular more green coloured (stripes) one. This one help me when I had the issue with water coming out my eyes when I try viewing something from a far. I almost went to hospital but was solved with this.

Typically, eye discomfort and vision problems are experienced when viewing digital screens for long periods, with discomfort levels appearing to increase in proportion to the amount of time spent using a digital screen. The thing is; many of the visual symptoms experienced by users are only temporary and usually decline after stopping computer work or use of the digital device. So, I would advise he stops the computer work for a while.

However, if he still experiences the blurred vision and watery eyes, even after stopping work at a computer, or gets worse, proper health care without delay is advised. If Computer Vision Syndrome is not addressed well in these cases with appropriate treatment, symptoms will not only continue to recur but may also worsen(eyesight damage/blindness) with computer or screen use in the future.

Also, even wearing eyeglasses or contacts does not stop the discomfort because their prescriptions are not specifically designed for computer or device use.

Do the symptoms come with headache/neck pain? Has he really visited an ophthalmologist?

He has reduced the usage by let's say 80%. Sometimes d symptoms seems to disappear but this doesn't last as he usually starts getting d symptoms again in less than 24hrs after


He isn't having any other pains.


Well the the time he visited the teaching hospital, he was referred to d eyes clinic n he saw the eye doctor there. I don't know if the person is an Opthalmologist. We will find out

I understand your problem. I also had very bad vision from computer so I bought glasses from Ocuwear. I asked them to make glasses with lenses that help my eyes cope with the stress from computer radiation. It really helped me improve my eyesight! Now I get much less tired when I work with the computer!
