A Nigerian lady has taken to Facebook to share screenshot of message she got from a struggling 'entitled' Pastor she gifted money.

Lolo Nneka recalled how the Pastor once asked her to buy him a car because "his kids cry when they see other people's cars".

Sharing a recent experience, the Facebook user revealed that after she and a friend gifted the Pastor N20k each, he asked her to buy his wife a phone because she has not had any for some time.


She wrote;

There is this struggling pastor on my street that lives from hand to mouth.
He has a wife and two kids, I help him from time to time out of my magnanimity not because I am under any obligation to help him or I am relying on him for prayers.
I was born and bred in the Catholic Faith, Even though I have not been attending church for sometime, if I resume church today it will still be Catholic.

I don't do pastors, TBH I hardly rate them. I just decided to assist this one occasionally because his suffering is glaring. He comes to me with all kinds of visions and conspiracy theories but I wave him off because I simply do not believe in those things.

Some days ago, I went to his house, he lives inside the church with his family, I wished them a Merry Christmas, he started asking me to buy him a car, and that his kids are always crying when they see other people's cars, so he sized me up and concluded I can buy him a car lol���� He said the holy spirit asked him to make that request from me.

I quietly did the transfer of 20k I had in mind for give him, told him and his wife I was leaving. The wife escorted me home with her kids, I had nothing to offer them so I gave the kids my mint 200 naira notes that was up to 5k, the wife thanked me and left.

Two days later a friend asked me if I know of anyone that needs help, I told him I know of a struggling pastor. He told me to send him the pastor's account details, I did it immediately and he credited the pastor another 20k. The pastor called to thank me and even sent a text

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting alone and minding my business when I got a text from him asking me to buy his wife a phone.
Have you ever seen a person as greedy and entitled as this? Said the spirit asked him to tell me to buy his wife a phone.

People can be really inconsiderate though, not just the pastor. They just have this sense of entitlement, as if it was their right, so just do whatever you could to help whenever you're able to do so, so you don't get discouraged to help others because of such ingrates.

Well, here's the kicker! The Holy Spirit would never suggest this world's kind of hustling- working for food that spoils- to anyone, and the reason for this is because Jesus Christ came to redeem us from God's curse on mankind which included the burden of working for our daily perishable bread.

Those who belong to God are called away from working for perishable bread to instead work for food that endures to eternity which only Jesus Christ alone can give - John 6 vs 25 - 33

Pastor or not, anyone in poverty can be manipulative, it's easier and common for pastors cos of the power and credibility they have over people.

Sometimes it takes strength of character and sense of personal dignity and integrity to not take advantage of someone u can easily influence. Forget about he's a pastor. it's nothing spiritual. It's human nature to take advantage. People have to understand this human flaw.

Remember how Gehazi went back to take advantage of that rich fellow whom his master, Elisha, had healed? He took advantage of the man and collected a gift Elisha dint ask to receive. That's how manipulation works when you have power or influence over someone especially as a purported man of God people easily believe.

In my opinion the Man really want to serve God, but his expectation is very high. A struggling pastor and still want a car gift.

Eat good food first . Serving God is not easy,I think he should spend More Time in God's presence as there are Many spiritual problems to solve.. Imagine if he has the gift to heal, cast out demons etc , He's not going to be the one asking for help coz people would be giving him More than he need .

These days, it is very hard to find someone who does ministry with integrity. To find one, you will travel miles away.

I have seen a lot of things in this life, therefore, I pay little or no attention to title..

Some of these thieving, occultic politicians are elders and deacons in churches, they go an extra mile in donating hugely and building churches for their pastors. These pastors know but keep mum because of the material benefits..

So nothing new here...

Everyone is just hungry.

Entitlement Mentality is a sin... It is covetousness, it is Greed, it is criminal.

And what do we call a pastor who indulges in criminality? A wolf in sheep clothing! Simple!
