First off, Happy new year dear humble Nairalanders. May 2022 favour us all.

While it is absolutely necessary and in fact beneficial to have goals and aspirations lined up for the new year, the approach is sometimes unrealistic. The overzealousness is unmatched! How do plan to do something for 365 days when you never even tried for 3 days.

Rather than trying to quit smoking or pornography or build a whole new habit in 2022. Why not start by trying new week resolutions, make a very short plan, write goals for the week, then try for a month and then progress onward, now that sounds doable to me.
It’s 2022, lets be true to ourselves and make daily/weekly intentional efforts to better our lives.
Godspeed. smiley
