Chairman Abig Nwankwo FOUNDATION Ichie Chimezie Nwankwo (Obata Uno Adimma na Okija) on December 24, shared 500 bags of rice to indigent widows, widowers and aged in Umuohi-Okija Anambra State, for Christmas celebration.

The celebration was part of the activities it lined up for this year’s Yuletide Celebrations. Ichie Obata Uno Adimma na Okija, said that the gesture was intended to put smiles on the faces of the widows, widowers and aged in his community.

He further stated that as we prepare to celebrate the Christmas, we thought about the widows and aged that have the duty of training their children, who may have no money to buy rice to celebrate with their families.
“So, we said let us invite them and give them rice for their Christmas, so that in turn it will touch their lives and those of their children.

Speaking at the event, Prince Ken Emeakayi (Dikeanagbaraizu) Umuohi-Okija President General appreciated Abig Nwankwo Foundation CEO for his kind gestures. He opined that it's worthy of emulation as it concerns remembering the indigent widows and less privileged.

Frank Igbojindu (Chairman Akpoazaa Group) who is also the Coordinator Abig Nwankwo Foundation stated that the gesture is in line with the Foundation norm. He further stated that Abig Nwankwo Foundation has many Empowerment Programs and Projects for Umuohi-Okija Community, Okija and Anambra State in the Year 2022 and pray that God bless the Foundation and the beneficiaries.

The Celebration ended with joyous moments with words of prayers and good wishes by the beneficiaries.
