Former NRC Presidential Candidate, Bashir Tofa Is Dead

The former presidential candidate of the defunct National Republicans Convention (NRC), Bashir Othman Tofa is dead.

Infonets gather report that Tofa died in the early hours of Monday, January 3rd 2022 after a brief illness.

The late Tofa was the major Challenger of late Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola popularly known as MKO Abiola in the controversial June 12, 1993 Presidential election annulled by the military government of General Ibrahim Babangida.

One of the deceased relations said; “Alhaji Bashir Tofa died after a brief illness"
