Equip the military, especially the special forces with sophisticated weapons and updated training in antiterrorism tactics. This shouldn't take more than 3 to 6months. Then send them into forests to flush out the terrorists.

Better still, equip State Police to CONTROL insecurities in their respective STATES AND REPORT TO THEIR RESPECTIVE STATE GOVERNMENTS.

Dumbo! Just like your government officials, all braun no brain. Bombing forest in a place like the north that is an arid area will lead to massive drought and will even kill more people and livestock in the thousands seeing how impoverished they are there and they rely mostly on farming and livestock rearing! And that is just one consequence.

The forest isn't there for aesthetics, they have a function.
