Jonathan won all Southwestern state aside Osun who voted ribadu because of Aregbesola.

When he won, we're not among the first no. 10 Leaders in the country. He kept and delayed Osun and Ekiti Allocations for months ALL BECAUSE OF ELECTION.
To hell with GEJ.

Support whoever you want to support, Tinubu will eventually be the no. One citizen come 2023

Mr Loveful yoruba

Stop twisting the narrative. In 2011, SW were Indifferent during Presidential election. Remember Tinubu had Ribadu under ACN as candidate. There was wide voter apathy during Presidential election that Gubernatorial in SW.

How did GEJ reduce you to nothing? If SW was not all about grabbing power, why didn't APC present a southern candidate to contest with GEJ of PDP to ensure South complete their tenure?

They connived with power hungry North to grab power, so if your fellow southern region do same now, don't cry, they learnt it from your region

Stop preaching Southern Unity that you never contributed to. Abiola won in all the Geopolitical zone in Nigeria in 1993 except your SE, the "south". grin

The South united behind a yoruba in 1999. The Igboa voted OBJ a yorubaman in 1999 and 2003. How many yorubas have ever voted an Igbo man?

If you like twist the truth upside down in order to deceive yourself as usual na you sabi.

There are good hearted yorubas who are clamouring for the tickets be zoned to the SE. Barr. Onagoruwa SAN and a few other yorubas with conscience are saying it everyday. Listen to them and stop trying to remain a fool.

You are a devilish liar

The SE have always voted for SW but has never been repaid. OBJ got more vote from SE than SW despite that SE son, Ekwueme lost to OBJ in the primary.

Also MKO won in Anambra and some other SE states, despite the fact that their son was NRC VP candidate.

Can this ever be the case with tribal and clanish SW?

My point is, you can't be shouting power return to South for equity and faintness. While you are not considering equity and fairness in South.

If they blv they can muscle their way through South once both PDP and APC front Southern candidates with the help of North whom SW ganged up with to grab power, then there is no sincerity from SW.

Hence SS Governors or SE Governors can as well play the game by conceding it to North with the hope that North will support them later.

This is where Tinubu and SW desperation has put d SOUTH unfortunately.

Apart from 2011 when we all supported GEJ, tell me the time SE and SW agreed politically in history. No be the same SE teamed up with the North to deny Awolowo presidency and voted Shagari instead

Nigeria politics did not start in 2015 and most of you Igbos shouting Southern Unity since 2015 are just looking for opportunity to put the blame on the Yorubas.

The hypocrisy and greed is disgusting.

While SW Governors under southern Governors forum are canvassing for rotation and return of Presidency to South, they are selfishly not considering same rotation in the south, having had a shot under OBJ and now VP Osibanjo, they are projecting Tinubu another SWener not minding that they ganged with North to remove a SS brother from Power. That's hypocrisy, greed and wickedness

If Southern Governors are not micro-zoning to either SS or SE, let North remain with power.

Rather than SW, let it remain in the North. Until they understand equity

When Tinubu and Co connived with North, was it not for same power grabbing purpose?

North will keep using us until we have sense
My brother let's not deceive ourselves. Every party will only zone its presidency to where it is popular and thinks it will win. This is the same reason PDP will never make the mistake of zoning the Presidency to South West for example because they're obviously not popular there with the likes of Tinubu holding sway there and only Makinde of Oyo state as a PDP governor. Same worry with APC. Even if they want to play the equity game by zoning it to South-East, the fear of an almost certain loss will make them think twice. Isn't it in the same South-East where the APC is hated so much and almost everyone associated with them like Uzodinma a whole governor and the Uba brothers are insulted daily, even an Umahi who was loved before while in PDP is called betrayer and Fulani slave when he decamped to APC? How many votes did your region give APC in the last Presidential election to force APC to make such expensive gamble of ceding the Presidential ticket to you? You guys in the South-East have put yourselves in a difficult position. If the same PDP you have been loyal to for years do not deem it fit to cede the Presidency to you, so it's the Tinubu and APC you love to hate you expect to do that right? Your anger towards Tinubu and Yorubas is misplaced and should be directed towards your darling PDP.

Yoruba men were on the ballot for the two parties because they both won the primaries so Igbos had no choice.
You voted OBJ then because you knew he wasn't Yorubas preferred candidate. You would have gladly voted a Cameroonian on the ballot against a Yoruba if the two candidates weren't Yoruba. Remember 1979 grin

The coming election will prove that ther is nothing like Norther and southern Nigeria.
There are geopolitical zones. The presidency is between SW and SE.
any if these zones that can align the most will take the presidency.
Now let the games begin.

@seconded bolded. My question is, Did Abiola that cleared most of the geopolitical zones in Nigeria including the North win in the South East geopolitical zone? Anambra is just a state in the zone. Remember Jonathan had about 45% of the SW votes in 2015 as well but you all made it look like all Yorubas voted against him.

This is really a humiliation that southern governors can not be in unison in their presidential zoning decision.

Fear of betrayal and the tendency to use sharp hypocritical manoeuvre of SE and SS to achieve their presidential ambition may cause divide. After which they will happily return the power to the north with pledge of allegiance

U seem not to understand how this things work.
There are two major parties in the country PDP and APC.
PDP had a southern president , if they are to by their construction they will project a northern candidat.
APC doesn't have rotational presidency in their construction , but by logic they feel after a northerner , a southerner should take over and in that order. The country wants a southern president now but can PDP do that no.
So APC is the major party that can achieve that at the moment

Minimum he should have started Lagos to Calabar railway linking SW,SE and SS, Itakpe Warri to Abuja railway, Second Niger Bridge, Brass LNG, 7th NLNG train and a new Refinery in Bayelsa or Akwa Ibom.
But all we saw was waste of scarce forex on few fat cats buying bra and jewelries, luxury yatch and private jets.
