What about the heating of vacuum pump motor?

In the process of using the vacuum pump, friends have encountered the sudden feeling of high motor temperature. At this time, you need to check one by one to eliminate problems.

1、 Causes of high motor temperature

1. The motor has high power, large working current and high calorific value.

2. The fan speed is low, the air pressure is small, and the air volume is small.

3. The number of fan blades is small, resulting in small air volume.

4. Dust and oil stain adhere to the motor, reducing the heat dissipation capacity.

5. The bus voltage where the vacuum pump motor is located is 380V. Due to the uneven cable voltage drop and load distribution, the actual voltage applied by the motor is only 365v. The low voltage causes large operating current.

2、 Measures to solve high motor temperature

The machine power and speed match the SK vacuum pump and cannot be changed. The fan is installed on the motor spindle. The motor speed determines the fan speed and cannot be replaced. Although increasing the number of fan blades can play a certain role, it is difficult to find dynamic balance after increasing the number of blades. If the alignment is not good, the vibration of the motor will increase.

1. Lengthen the original fan cover by 40cm and install an axial fan with the same diameter as the internal fan cover. The motor power of axial flow fan is 850 W, the speed is 1489 R / min and the voltage is 380 v. Keep the original fan. The axial flow fan is controlled by another power supply, and the axial flow fan is not interlocked with the main motor. After the vacuum pump is started, the axial flow fan shall be started in time. 30 minutes after the vacuum pump is stopped, the axial flow fan shall be stopped to fully cool the main motor.

2. Regularly remove the motor dust, keep the motor heat sink clean and increase its heat dissipation capacity.

3. Adjust the bus voltage of vacuum pump to 400V

4. After voltage adjustment, the operating current of the vacuum pump is reduced to 210a and the calorific value is relatively reduced.

5. The insulation aging speed of the main motor slows down and the service life is prolonged.
