We are urgently looking to fill the following roles for our client, an online betting company
Location: Ibadan, Oyo State

1. Position: Shop manager of retail outlet

Job purpose:
Ensuring the adequate functioning of the retail shop in all areas of business.

General responsibilities:

1. Organization, maintenance, and control of a high level of quality and quality of work in the domain of organizational unit, commitment, and proactivity
2. Encouraging creativity, generating ideas, developing innovation, and maximizing the range of products
3. Monitoring and analysis of competition in this area
4. Defining business risks in their domain, determining preventive measures, analyzing and monitoring their implementation
5. Ensuring the protection of business secrets
6. Planning, organization, development, control, and maintenance of business processes of the organizational unit within the entire system
7. Focus and care for clients through continuous efforts to improve the quality of services, products, and processes within the domain for which he is in charge
8. Monitoring legislation in its domain

Responsibilities:

1. Receives payments (bets) and issues tickets and Pays out winning tickets
2. Records its start and end of working hours in the computer exclusively under its code
3. Responsible for acquainting other employees with all messages received from the headquarters concerning employees, ie work at the payment point. Messages must be accurately conveyed and clear to all employees at the payment point
4. Writes weekly reports on the work of the payment point and submits them to the regional manager/assistant regional manager
5. Responsible for the complete balance at the payment point in his shift
6. Collects the documentation necessary for the employment of other employees and forwards it to the administrator
7. Takes care of the security of funds, as well as the condition of equipment and devices at the place of payment
8. Communicates with players and provides information related to the results, conditions, and rules of the game, betting methods...
9. Performs basic assistance to players related to the use of machines and roulette
10. Collects, sorts, and hands over winning and canceled tickets to the head of the payment point
11. Monitors the consumption and condition of consumables (papers, tickets, pens, cartridges, strips of cleaning agents ...) and requires delivery of the same from the assistant regional manager/reg. manager
12. Take into account the existence of the necessary documentation at the place of payment. Responsible that all workers are familiar with that documentation and where it is stacked. Documentation includes:
• all permits, fees, stickers, regulatory documentation and everything else that must be on the premises as proof of legal work
• all necessary documents on employees (Employment contracts, photocopies of application forms, valid sanitary booklet, rules of conduct at the workplace ...)
13. Makes the work schedule of employees in shifts according to the established procedure
14. Responsible of payment point (electricity, telephone, water, cable, internet and utilities)
15. Presents problems related to the work of the payment point and proposes solutions
16. Participates in the introduction of new employees after their training
17. Maintains the hygiene of the counter and the basic hygiene of the payment point in his shift
18. Performs basic maintenance of the good condition of the premises
19. Obliged to know the technical properties of complete equipment (satellite equipment, cash register, appliances, computer equipment, etc)
20. In case of need communicates with third party operators ( Betting management operators, System administrators, Appliance service technicians (on-duty service technicians, Call center operators, Security employees etc)
21. Working on the fiscal cash register, Issuing a fiscal invoice, sending data to the Tax Administration
22. Responsible for conscientious and timely performance of tasks within the scope of his / her work
23. Performs other tasks as ordered by management
Conditions for job creation:
 Formal education: Bachelor's degree
 Required experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience similar positions is required with the ability to transfer the acquired experience to related or similar working tasks in the new business environment
 Additional knowledge: excellent computer skills; excellent knowledge of the requirements and habits of the player.
 Skills: communication (oral and written), negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills
