This is the shocking moment a man allegedly tried to strangle a woman with his shoelace at a bus stop in an unprovoked attack.

Aaron K Quinones, 27, was arrested and charged with attempted murder after CCTV caught him violently attacking a woman waiting at a Miami-Dade Transit Bus Stop in the south Florida city on Jan 2 morning.

Surveillance footage shared by former police officer Freddy Trillo shows the man checking his surroundings while taking off a shoelace.

He walks over to the woman sitting at the end of the bench and places the shoelace over her head and wraps it around her neck.
