Hello Nairalanders, trust we are all having a great day. I'm creating this link in other find information regarding why our gas 500kw Engine filter keeps clogging with black soot. I intends to know how one can possibly track soot to know the exact location the soot clogging our gas generator air filter keeps coming from, I can possibly understand is dry season and the entire country is really dusty but our gas generator in one of our estate within warri area keeps having frequent air filter challenges unlike the others we have in other parts of the country. Though there is another gas containerised generator that is separated 5 feet from the power house housing our gas generator of which the silencer tail is far lower compared to the silencer tail of our own gas generator. Could it possibly be that the black soot may be coming from the other gas generator that is close to our engine? Please I need your views Nairalanders. Thanks and do have a lovely weekend.
