When it comes to a country's security, all protocols are dammed.

It's about how such a memo meant for the president could be leaked to the press. For such to happen, a security/intelligence memo for that matter, it shows Nigeria's intelligence architecture is at risk.

Does it change the fact and the position of the law according to your Supreme Court that the press cannot be forced to disclose its source of information. Let NIA investigate its staff, not the press. Or does the press work for NIA. If an organisation has people that leak information to the press, they are to deal with it internally. The fact that the info got leaked to the press shows how porous the organization is. The fact that NIA without seeking sound legal advice went to the office of the Newspaper to ask for their source of information shows how the organization thinks
