God go punish Rohr, he had us believe we can't pull these sort of performances. We would be struggling to score against very lower ranked teams!

That's what makes a good coach. At least everyone will be fulfilled to an extent. The likes of Tyron has not played until today. He made him play full time.
Nah ...Tyrone Ebuehi was substituted in the 76th minute.

Noah replaced him

up eagles!! Eguaveon should please stick to the first eleven that started Egypt match in the knockout stages. No point experimenting. If he so love Sadiq he should only bring him on when it's 80mins and when we are leading comfortably else the guy may mess things up for us

I hope Osihmen, Emmanuel Dennis and Cyril Dessiers are booting and ready to go for the world cup. We have got a team but we need the best legs come summer. I feel we have got what it takes to give a good showing of ourselves during the world cup. The likes of Tammy Abraham and Ighalo will watch us from their homes. Ighalo is not missed at this Afcon and won't be missed during the world cup. Besides, he quit the team once.

Now I know why Iwobi was reduced to a team B player.
Iwobi plays better as a midfielder than as a winger.

Three straight wins doesn't make them better. The quality of teams you meet matters. Watching this Afcon shows that African football is going backwards.
I was privileged to witness that generation play and these guys have not gotten to their level. 5th in FIFA Rankin no be beans, if you are not a strong team you can't get to that rank.

For the first time in a long while that Nigeria played a competition and qualify convincingly without pressing calculator.

Genat Rohr was really a confirmed dullard!

I don't know between him and Buhari who is more chalatant!

He is a rabid tribalistic dunce and hypocrite. To the fool, anyone who criticises sodick must be Igbo.

95% of everyone who watched this match and the previous match against Sudan knows sodiq shouldn't be in this team....no thanks to the injury to Victor Osihmen, but the fool will hide under the cloak of objectivity to insult the people his bigoted and bitter mind loves to hate.

Otherwise how can any sane person find fault with calling sodick out for performing below par?

Tribalism aside, that Sodiq should not go the world cup, today's goal doesn't validate him. I wouldn't choose Onuachu either.

The dribbling was excellent... Instead of VAR to check if the second goal was offside or not, They were busy checking if Simon's dribbling was original or fake... It took the referee 5mins to confirm from them cheesy ...
