Job Brief

We are looking for a competitive retail Sales Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. The Sales Assistant’s duties include selling, restocking and merchandising. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation

Key Responsibilities/Duties
• Provide assistance to the store manager in his day-to-day tasks
• Keeping the store fully stocked
• Maintaining the highest level of visual merchandising and store conditions
• Delivering exceptional sales services for improved customer satisfaction.
• Interacting with customers and identifying their needs and preferences.
• Operating cash registers and point-of-sale machines
• Maintain the store area; neat, clean and sanitized.
• Handle safely and delicately the items and products in the store
• Receiving and verifying the quality and quantity of new shipments
• Enforcing in-store security and health and safety procedures and regulations

Requirements
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Organisational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of point of sale softwares
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including evenings, weekends, or holidays) .
• Willingness to participate in training before hire and on-the job.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background investigation.
• Dedication to customer satisfaction.
• In-depth familiarization with all of the goods and services offered by the company.

Qualification
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven work experience in the retail.
•. Industry in a sales or customer facing-role would be an added advantage.
•. Must be computer savvy.
• Social media savvy.
• Must be 23-28 years of age.

Salary Range: 60-70,000 Naira monthly
