stop comparing apple with oranges!

in the US , you could pay upwards of 35-37% taxes on your salary, in Europe some places you pay 45% of your salary in taxes....how much do Nigerians pay, if i may ask?!?!?

sadly, this is the stoopid mistakes that many Nigerians make....they wanna compare countries with couple of TRILLIONS in tax revenue each year, with deluded countries with a couple of bucks in revenue. some countries out there have the means to give free healthcare AND free education AND fix roads AND have power plants that work perfectly to give its popuation 24hs electricity.... because they have so much extra money.
sadly, in Nigeria, you instead have a few billions of $$ that the greedy selfish bastards "YOU" elected shared among themselves to buy themselves villas, privates jets and send their kids to private school in Switzerland.

FYI the US made 3.8 TRILLIONS DOLLARS in tax revenue in 2021

I think you have a misunderstanding of what a Tax Return/Refund is. Everyone (with some exceptions) has to file a tax return to the US federal government. The tax return documents how much you made and how much in taxes you paid on it. You only get a refund if you overpaid your taxes (which happens for a myriad of reasons), in fact a lot of people owe money to the government after they file their tax return.

Tax Day, April 15th(April 18th this year), when the tax returns are due isn't a day people look forward to gleefully in the US.

It is vital to ensure the health and safety of your workforce. Health and safety legislation varies from one state to another. In many cases, self-employed contractors are considered self-employed for tax purposes. You are curious to know more about CIS Payroll Solutions & Benefits - EEBS, go here.
