A brave man has been praised for his self-defense skills after he successfully chased away two armed men who attempted to attack him and his lady in a viral video.

The tense meeting was caught on camera by a nearby CCTV camera immediately outside the man's residence. The couple had just arrived home late at night and were ready to enter when the man observed some shadowy figures.

He then hurriedly opened the door, allowing his wife to enter the house while he faced the knife-wielding men.

The man employed martial arts to put up a fierce struggle, and after a few seconds of back-and-forth, the two assailants withdrew, leaving him to enter his home.
