Kenneth Omeruo trains separately to the rest of his Nigerian teammates on Wednesday as they begin preparations for their second Group D clash against Sudan, reports Completesports.com.

The Super Eagles opened their campaign at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with a 1-0 win against seven times champions Egypt on Tuesday.

Omeruo was replaced in the second half of the encounter by West Brom’s Semi Ajayi after picking up an injury.

The Leganes defender trained separately to the rest of the group during Wednesday’s training session at the VSTS-ANNEX, Roumde Adija Stadium, Garoua.

It remains to be seen whether Omeruo will be available to head coach Austine Eguavoen for selection for the game against Sudan on Saturday.

If you're conversant with AFCON history you'll discover that All AFCON hosted by black African countries usually experience goal drought.

AFCON hosted by North African countries usually experience aboundant goals.

The NFF should get each player a bell which must be rang before and after every game to chase award the evil spirits that are supervising the goal drought.

Then the cup will come home.

So far Nigeria is looking like the best team in this tournament.. i mean all the rest matches watched so far are very boring and non inspiring,, the current Tunisia vs Mali game be like kindergarten boys wen just de learn to play futball
