Re: What Are Your Views On Modeling? by Maxflame(m): 7:36am On Feb 20, 2006
Its ok. Out of the different method i preffer sub-d modelling, poly modelling is good but you won't have as much control as sub-d, spline is the worst but favoured by some, its getting outdated anyway.

Modeling like American's Next Top Model is the best because you get a contract with Ford Models and a $100,000 contract with Cover Girl Make-up, it is awesome kiss wink

Modelling is good if you are one but if you are thinking about being one it might be a waste of time cos modelling has the worst case of competiotion because there are loads of girls out there thats being on waiting list for ages now. if you know you are outstandingly gorgeous you'll get yourself a deal chap chap

My views on modelling? It's okay if you've got wat they want, and if you can an agent/agency.

if you are in NIgeria, i would say, finish school first, cos daing, everyone wants to be a model now. So have you degree and then, u can start thinking abt being a model.

modelling is cool if you are blessed with the physique, i would have luved to be one, all those clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, oohh heaven. Its the ultimate career if you are a girlie girl into your beauty stuff, the hair, makeup, blisss, sheeer blisss smiley

sometimes people think you have to be beautiful to be a model, it helps if you are above 6 foot , great face and bod to go with it, but some models aren''t great lookers in person , they just blessed with good bod,and are photogenic. So yeah modelling is great , it's good to know people don't have the old fashioned belief that models are thick and just have looks.
Re: What Are Your Views On Modeling? by retro(f): 4:51pm On Jul 04, 2006
I want to be a model, I'm going to be a model. At first, I wanted to be a professional stripper but since I met my boyfriend, everything changed. Afterwards, I decided that I was going to be a professional dancer but I changed my mind. Now I'm going to be a model. But I'm going to finish school/college first.
I'm currently studying Economy. Anyways, I might change my mind.

Modelling is great. I hope I stick to the idea of becoming one.

lol!!! is there a size 0? in the Uk most of the models are btw sizes 8-10 that is quite acceptable. I’m a size 8-10 too. embarassed
Re: What Are Your Views On Modeling? by iice(f): 1:10pm On Jul 05, 2006
LOL, yea there's a size 0 its the sizes of ramp models that is haute coulture(can't remember d spelling lol) models. Well good thing the UK has something different but generally when i buy clothes i noticed that UK sizes are bigger even if it has d same size written on it as the american which is a bummer coz i can't wear most of the clothes i get frm my mom. angry wink
Re: What Are Your Views On Modeling? by desiree(f): 1:21pm On Jul 05, 2006
hmmm-- the UK sizes are a lil bit weird and ranges according to the brand and shop. I guessing here o, i think a UK size 8/10 is probably a US size 6/7
