I recently bought a universal modem (Orange Icon 225), but i'm skeptical about the speeds i'm getting, so how do i check my modem speed?
Its supposed to be 7.2mbps but how do i confirm that? is there an application or something to do that?
And the GUI for the modem is so scanty, so i cant check it there

Try to find out the manufacturer name, the serial and model number of the modem, any useful information you can get either on the modem itself or the pack it came with then look it up on google, you will get the full specs of the device.
