In the past years, cryptocurrencies have become a modern form of financial investment as the crypto space witnessed significant growth. That said, these digital assets keep on catching the eyes of the general public—increasing the number of potential investors.

In that sense, Aladdin Exchange, a fast-growing decentralized exchange, continues to develop cutting-edge solutions to keep up with its upsurging users. Moreover, one of these latest innovations addresses a rising concern in the industry—can crypto be inherited after death?

With the platform's new Inheritance feature, Aladdin Exchange now guarantees the management, succession, and control of cryptocurrencies after one’s unfortunate demise. Launching in the first week of 2022, this much-awaited feature is the first of its kind.

Furthermore, bequeathing cryptocurrencies is not as simple as the typical process when it comes to traditional assets like cash or properties. Fortunately, the Dubai-based exchange makes the method seamless and easy to use.

Basically, the Inheritance feature lets users add beneficiaries to ‘inherit’ their crypto assets and get access to their private keys when they are no longer available. In detail, a private key is the identifying information required to gain rights to the assets.

To start, users need to create/log in to their Aladdin Exchange accounts. In order to use the Inheritance function, they need to go to ‘My Page’ and hit ‘Click to Designate Beneficiaries.’ What’s more, users can add up to three people as their inheritors. To complete the designation, users need to fill out their beneficiaries’ names, phone numbers, and email addresses.

Consequently, Aladdin Exchange’s pioneer feature only proves that crypto assets in the platform not only can be owned, gifted, and traded but can also be inherited. As cryptocurrencies are taking the world by storm, they should not be lost due to the incapacitation of the owner. It is crucial to take precautions to prevent falling victim to the inaccessibility of assets during the time they are most needed.
