What do you think "the greatest points gotten in a game between the two teams" means? Is that not head to head? Did you see 'most goals" there?

Is it because they did not state "Head to Head" that you do not understand that "Greatest Points" means that if the two teams played a game, whichever team earns the most points from that game will top.

For instance

Nigeria has topped our group certainly, because we won Egypt, which is the only other team that can get 6 points as us.

If we and Egypt had drawn, that means both teams took a point each, and that is when Goal Difference will come into play.

So, Head to Head is the requirement. The thing you posted is not different from what I posted.
