Going by this logic, the Euro is not more competitive than AFC Asia cup and AFCON, because it's 24 teams that equally participate in the three tournaments.

That also means the FIFA confederations cup was never competitive at any point, because prior to swapping it for the club world cup in 2019, only 8 teams usually participate.


Also, going by your logic, it's safe to say World Cup is not a competitive tournament, because South American teams have won 9 out of the 21 tournaments. And yes, they have been in lots of Finals.
