You don't understand the North and religion. This ticket is automatic loosing ticket in the North. North cannot concede VP slot to a Non Core muslim Hausa-Fulani Northerner.

I still think the North is planning to set up Tinubu for defeat. Give him ticket in APC, give Atiku ticket in PDP. Southerners are all game but they know it not.

Osinbajo is my preference though, matched with any strong Northern governor (Kano, Borno). I don't expect APC to give someone from the South East, that would be unfair as they had no previous history of strong presence in APC, that's the responsibility of PDP. If PDP fields a very good candidate from the SE with a strong Northern governor then that's another preferred choice for me but national politics is not campus or village association politics.

PDP must field someone from the South East, that should be the dominant noise online now not Tinubu's declaration of interest.
They have fielded Obasanjo (SW), Yar'adua (NC), Jonathan (SS), Atiku (NE) and now it should someone from the South East followed by someone from the North West. I know that national politics doesn't necessary work like that as it all depends on agreements and coalitions but the pattern so far is clear.
