AFCON 2022 High Probability Predictions For Match Day 3 by EndSARS77: 3:20pm On Jan 17, 2022
1. Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia
Burkina Faso will win by 2 or more goals (2.95)
Reason: Burkina Faso lost to Cameroon by 1 goal; Ethiopia lost to Cameroon by 3 goals. Burkina Faso won Cape Verde by 1 goal; Ethiopia lost to Cape Verde by 1 goal. Burkina Faso always seem to be 2 steps (or 2 goals difference) ahead of Ethiopia in everything
2. Cape Verde vs Cameroon
Cameroon will win & Over 2.5 (3.20)
Reason: I was going to say Cameroon will win and boh teams will score, but I have decided to play it safe. Both teams scored, in Cameroon's first 2 games in this group. Even "ordinary" Ethiopia who were unable to score both Cape Verde & Burkina Faso, were able to score against Cameroon
3. Ghana vs Comoros
Ghana will win & Under 2.5 (2.45)
Reason: There were under 2.5 goals scored in Ghana's first 2 games in this group... there were also under 2.5 goals scored in Comoros first 2 games in this group. Ghana are the favourites, which is why I said they will win
4. Zimbabwe vs Guinea
Guinea will win & both teams will not score (2.40)
Reason: Malawi won Zimbabwe 2-1 and Senegal won Zimbabwe. Both Malawi and Senegal who are both stronger than Zimbabwe, were unable to score Guinea... Senegal even drew 0-0 with Guinea. I don't mean any disrespect to them but who are Zimbabwe to score against Guinea? Guinea are the favourites, which is why I said they will win
5. Gabon vs Morocco
Morocco will win and both teams will not score (2.40)
Reason: I would have said Morocco will win and under 2.5 but I decided to play it safe here. There were under 2.5 goals in Gabon's first 2 games in this group... there were also under 2.5 goals in Morocco's first 2 games. Ghana who drew with Gabon 1-1 and who seem evenly matched with Gabon right now, ended up losing to Morocco 1-0. And to crown everything up... when Morocco won their first 2 games, both teams did not score
6. Guinea Bissau vs Nigeria
Nigeria will win by 2 or more goals (3.20)
Reason: Nigeria won Sudan by 2 goals; Guinea Bissau drew with Sudan. Nigeria won Egypt by 1 goal; Egypt won Guinea Bissau by 1 goal. Nigeria always seem to be 2 steaps (or 2 goals difference) ahead of Guinea Bissau in everything

Extra Games
Gambia vs Tunisia
Tunisia will win by 2 or more goals (1.00)
I was tempted to add this prediction before, because Tunisia were robbed by poor refereeing in the Mali versus Tunisia game. What made me not to add this game is because Tunisia were given a penalty and they missed it. Was it the referee that took the penalty for them? No. Afterall Gambia were also given a last minute penalty against Mali and they scored it. Secondly every other prediction on this list is based on team performance in the first 2 games... it is only this match that is based on team performance in 1 game. That is, Tunisia won Mauritania by 4 goals while Gambia won Mauritania by only 1 goal... but Tunisia lost to Mali while Gambia drew with Mali which does not follow logic

Odds for the Zimbabwe versus Guinea game have dropped to 2.27 and are not worth staking on
