I am wondering why Nigeria has not picked up on e-commerce despite the high net usage recorded in the big cities. what do you think is the most probable cause of this, I see a couple of sites are up and running, have they been successful in wooing the public and do they offer any competitive advantage over the traditional way of shopping{ going to to the retail outlets}.

just for clarity I am talking about why nigerian retail industry is not effectively utilizing the convenience of ecommerce?
