Forget this. Igbos are not good politicians. This is because of only one reason which is thier inability to accommodate other tribes without looking down on them or thier culture. They are mostly anti social. They can't mingle with other tribes without coming up with a feeling they are better or more special than other people. This mentality doesn't work in politics. That's why they hardly make it when it comes to national politics. They always bring up a tensed atmosphere when ever there's a gathering with other people.

The minister they have, Ngige is one of the most annoying, ill mannered public office Holder I've seen. Look at the way he address people especially workers. He has no manners and always feeling like he's better than other people, counting his achievements and always reminding us he's a doctor. That's very annoying.
Nnamani may be a good person, but the inability of Igbo people to socialise with other tribes without any ridiculing is the problem
That's why Nigerians hardly will vote for any Igbo

Igbos will insult hell out of you for this obvious truth.

Senator Anyim Pius Anyim is Southeast best shot at the presidency. I am not sure he will make it because Southeast is not serious about Igbo presidency. I like Peter Obi and he may be one of the best materials to be a good president in Nigeria today. But he is not a great candidate in terms of the available political space and dynamics today. Elite consensus around Nigeria will not favor him. Anyim is our best chance because he has the political statutes and personality that Nigerian political dynamics can accommodate. In another politics, he may not be Southeast best chance. But in the present politics in Nigeria he is Southeast best chance.

If we are serious about Igbo presidency, we need to embrace Anyim and forget some of these daydreaming about our fanciful candidates.

Peter Obi would make a great president if he contests and wins. When he was governor in Anambra, he handled the state's economy and finances so well, and built up a robust financial reserves.

The presidential election is just a year away, alot of preparation will be needed to win, so it's better for him to join the race now.

Ayim slept his life away when he was in position. When you think of gross incompetence or deliberate malfeasance and maladministration....... you see only with the IBO politician.
We couldn't believe our eyes when lunatic okorocha was building statues all over the state capital owerri with reckless abandon. The whole south east except waterless Enugu is a mess. I served my nysc days there.
All they do is flaunt wealth while driving in the mud during burial. They don't care shit about their people.
Peter obi is Nigerian best material to salvage but is not well positioned instead known Lagos serpent is roaming around to rule 200 million people.

when will all these Igbo, Yoruba and hausa president stop? Let's assume the man wins, what benefit is it to the region and country if he is incompetent? Is the president not a northerner? What has the North and the country enjoyed since he became president? Is GEJ not from Bayelsa? What did Bayelsans enjoy?

Let's stop playing ourselves and playing into the hands of these people that only want to fatten their pockets. At the end of the day all they do is feed you crumbs to keep you enslaved to them.

Always ask for a competent leader regardless of tribe. Because in the end all we want is a prosperous nation.

Who cares were the next president comes from as long as he/she/it can do the job

Anyim declaration to the Presidency under the PDP platform is a welcome development. At least he stood up to be counted when we needed statesmen to represent Ndigbo. However, he isn't the only Igbo Presidential material. We have countless Igbo sons and daughters in all political parties that will lead this country well if voted for. Whether in the PDP or APC Ndigbo must stand up to be counted. 2023 is a goal.

Vote prosperity
Vote unity and progress
Vote a Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction.

Day dreaming, who will vote for him
you think Hausa people are that daft like Igbo people

Your narrow+minded opinion is what the time expended reading it

If out almost 50:million Igbos you can find some to entrust with leadership if the country, then you have a congenital problem begging for attention.

You see speak like a person with some scintilla of education and not like a stark illiterate ...
