No one gives a damn about what it had to do with.

What mattered was that these militants were terrorists, and should have been treated so.

The government should have dealt with them, no pampered them.

You cannot be spending taxpayers' money on amnesty programs. If you want to justify this shit, then it means every unemployed persons needs amnesty program since it can be argued that government is to blame for lack of opportunities.
