PRESIDENTIAL AIDE, HON. MANZO, EULOGISES PATRIOTS WORKING FOR SUSTAINABLE PEACE IN NIGERIA.


*A presidential Aide, Hon. Gambo Manzo, The Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Political Affairs (office of the vice president) has eulogised Patriotic Nigerians whose concerted efforts is geared towards the Promotion of sustainable peace across Nigeria.*





*Hon. Gambo Manzo speaking through Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, his Technical Assistant on Media and Communication on the backdrop of the deligent efforts of the super eagles players who are using the instrumentality of sports to bring peace, cohesion and unity among Nigerians stated that peace is the greatest asset of man, while Nigeria as a nation has continued to experience its own fair share of challenges to peace, conflict situations, spawned by the overheating of the polity by unpatriotic elements who seeks to instigate Nigerians against the present administration through their provocative and divisive speeches and action.*



*However, Hon. Manzo revealed that the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo is not unaware of the painstaking efforts of individuals, groups and organisations who are working tirelessly and passionately for the peace, Unity and political stability of Nigeria.*



Hon. Manzo assured that while the present administration is working hard to end several numerous development challenges that has bedevilled the nation over the years including: economic, political and social crises, decline in the standard of education, moral and infrastructural decay, cultural crisis predicated on the fact that traditional values in the people’s cultures have been heavily impacted by materialism.



Hon. Manzo empasised that there is a compelling need for Political actors irrespective of party differences to promote peace, enhance national cohesion by working towards bridging the gap between the ‘North’ and the ‘South’ in Nigeria, and to promote a feeling of belonging by undertaking targeted initiatives that will promote Nationalism, good Governance and electoral democracy reforms so as to build the confidence of Nigerians at large in the overall governance and electoral processes and state institutions.
