On the run up to another election, you will hardly ever hear Nigerians discuss problems and solutions, ideas and policy, naaaa, forget about that.

Who problems and solutions epp?

They would rather focus all their attention on the geographical location and ancestry of a candidate, like that somehow has any bearing on performance.

So they bring out their best thieves and start the debates based on the superiority of their location and not the superiority of their ideas.

Don't forget the name calling and spiting of other tribes, we can't forget that. Expect to hear more Afonja, IPOB and Janga--weed(Supporter of APC) thrown about, and some new cool names added to the mix, oh how sweet!

Issues like running water, law and order, electricity don't matter, of course they don't. Why should they? Why should black man care about law and order, lol, what do you think you are? White? sheeesh

We don't care about all that, we don't care about taking kids off the streets (what kids? who send), we don't care about any of that bro!

It is time to dance owambe and collect oil, gala and indomie, it is time to come up with the most brilliant abuses for other tribes, it is time to hail all our wonderful thieves, it is time to relegate all our intellectuals (who they epp)...

Whatever you do sha, please don't talk about problems and their solutions, cause nobody wants to hear that shhh angry

When I tell people that our leaders causes less than 10% of our problem, they'll go around shouting how billions we're being looted by different politicians. Some which are big lies others partly true.
A good example is the case of Allison madueke where it is claimed that she looted over $80billion nnpc funds and sadly enough a lot of people beleive.
Nigeria whose annual budget is less than $20billion and still underfunded would allow just one individual to loot 80billion dollar.
So many things are the cause of our problem starting from unpratiotism to personal greed to illiteracy. A lot of Nigerians won't accept the fact that we consume much higher than we generate hence the reason for loans..
A reasonable economist has already seen the doom of Nigeria the moment jonathans govt started borrowing to pay salaries.
Which sane growing economy borrows to feed?
Buharis govt continued from there and trust me, unless the citizens mentality changes, there's little any leader can do to help us. Very little..
Imagine a country with active population of over 200million depending their lives on the rise and fall of crude.
It has gotten to the stage where if oil price rises we suffer(increased subsidy) it drops, we suffer(low revenue)
We've let the white man economist idea to turn us into fool to the extent our own resources are useless to us.

If by miracle something happens in Nigeria and govt decides to pay every citizens 200k monthly.
Trust me in few years time, govt won't be able to sustain it and the reason is simple( instead of innovating, Nigerians would be giving birth to more children's) and if any govt tries to reduce the fee so they can sustain, Nigerians would curse that leader. His main opposition would give you shallow economic fact on how he can sustain such without blaming the problem(the people). The main opposition would someday become govt and would be forced to borrow to sustain.
It'll get to a point he can't borrow and hell go back on his words. Nigerians would curse him again and hail the previous leaders and the circle continues.

My lecturer would say everyday ordinary Ahmed would be insulting leaders as the problem but has never took his time to emphasize on the the masses problem.
Give him leadership tommorow and despite his good intentions Nigerians would still support him.
Sometimes we get what we deserve as Nigerians..
