On point
Ekaka1:

They can't survive on defense and time wasting...they're showing the Lions too much respect...and they'd get punished sooner or later unless they attempt a bit of sustained attack

I think the Gambians need to come out once in a while to try e shots at Onana not this cagey purposeless strategy that's already bought them 3 yellow cards in this game
You are absolutely correct.

If I were a gambler ...I'd have staked this one after 30mins...a whole half zero shots on target, 3 yellow cards, less that 30% ball possessio, poor passes, poor positioning and only hoping for magic...how ?
What did they pay the coaching crew for...to set up a primary school football defense and wangle their way into the semis...jokers!! cheesy

Definitely...their soft under belly was exposed in their last match ...they know it and their FA ...even Eto knows it that they don't have a team..
A North African team will expose them very badly...perhaps they're even playing their last game in the semi finals cheesy

Super Eagles appeared to be good because they met inexperienced teams. Whenever you play a good team, it's either you do your best to march them man to man or appear useless.

Do you know it would have been Nigeria vs Cameron today if Tunisia had defeated this same Gambia in their last group match, we could have met Gambia in the round of 16 instead of Tunisia and today, it would have been Nigeria Cameron.

Me I just dey surprise the way Cameron take avoid big team up to this stage, honestly it baffles me.

I don't understand why people still underate Cameroon. They knocked off Ivory Coast in their Group World Cup qualifiers.
They may not play fanciful football but they are energetic & their work rate as a team is very high & they have some quality players too. +home advantage.
Na dem get this AFCON.

Gambian approach made it easy for cameroon. They should have just come out to play after all they have nothing to lose. Gave cameroon too much respect.

100% … they don’t have any “superstars” in their team but play very cohesive football and home field advantage should see them through … I would like to see them get closer to Egypt’s AFCON trophy haul.

NA so people talk about the Pharaohs back in 2019 till they were unceremoniously knocked out by South Africa in the Second Round. Cameroun haven't met their match at all. Their biggest test yet will come in the Semis where there'll be no hiding place for them. They've had things too easy abeg.

U people are very emotional, so bcs Nigeria were unlucky against Tunisia and they crashed out, it means they no more a big team in Africa?

Is it not the same Nigeria that knocked out this same Cameron in the last edition?

Do you think Cameron would have found it easy against Nigeria?

You people are just too emotional, honestly !

And for your information, Cameron have not won Nigeria in a competitive match in regulation time since 1990, the one they won us in year 2000 was full time draw.
