It’s no doubt that there’s a need for a central Edoid dialect amongst the Edoid people & those migrated from the Old Benin Empire. Some of these groups include
Bini (Edo),
Ishan (Edo),
Owan (Edo),
Afemai (Edo),
Ososo (Edo),
Warake (Edo),
Sasaru (Edo),
Etsako (Edo),
Uneme (Edo),
Yekhee (Edo),
Ikpeshi (Edo),
Ghuotuo (Edo),
Owan (Edo),
Emani (Edo),
Eruwa (Edo),
Okpamheri (Edo),
Urhobo (Edo & Delta),
Isoko (Delta),
Okpe (Delta),
Ika (Edo & Delta)
Kwale (Delta)
Itsekiri (Edo & Delta),
Akalaka (Rivers),
Degema (Rivers),
Diobu (Rivers),
Ahoada (Rivers),
Uhami (Ondo),
Iyayu/Idoani (Ondo),
Akoko (Ondo),
Epie-Atissa (Bayelsa),
Engenni (Rivers & Bayelsa),
Ebira (Edo & Kogi)
Aduge (Kwara) etc.

A United Edoid Nation will be one of the richest not only in Nigeria but in Africa. Last year our Akalaka brothers from Rivers state visited Benin City & joined the Oba in celebrating the Igue festival. This move further strengthened the ties between the Benin kingdom & our Akalaka brothers.

Glad to know that you people have baptised them. But you could have used a Bini sounding name instead of "Akalaka" so that it won't attract those that actually own the name.

Just a suggestion though.

Of course they dare not, Enuani people are proud people who cherish their Igbo cultural and traditional identity. It would have been a gross insult to them which would have received immediate public rejection.

The promoters of this fantasy project actually knew their boundaries and were smart enough to go with the timid ones cheesy cheesy

this joblessness of yours is getting out of hands.
Stop dragging this issue back and forth.
How many times will you guys be schooled that Ikwerre is a tribe and ethnic group on its own without dragging this your Igbo madness into it?

Ukwale is the name we urhobo/isoko folks call them so it's not out of place and people who are billingual in both mostly call it that
Have you been to those places? If not you might need to make more research

You didn't tell me the name of the isoko communities that speaks ukwani

Alright.

I no longer argue all these community stuffs again on nairaland.

Check my chats you won't see such again. It makes no sense to me as I see it as waste of time.

Sounds reasonable. Although I don't know about Itshekiri. They sound more like Yoruba/Ilaje.

So, finally Sufferingboy/queenagbo will be speaking Edo as his native language.

Captain8 abi giftibo, you see Engenni and Epie are Edoid.

Asides four or five, questionable inclusions here and there, the rest look quite attainable.
