aryzgreat:Nope And impending coup. Remember there was a failed coup d'etat in Niger last year. This government dey fear It is also why they quickly restored the services of Twitter so they can closely monitor what people are sharing. You know how some rumours can have truth in it. They are taking no chances. But we know they are very incompetent and their plans will fail. Out of fear, they thought ENDSARS was the coup 2 Likes |

alphaNomega:They will introduce it after the elections, it made no sense whatsoever why The Federal Government would want to pull such a move in the build up to an election. Dangote refinery comes into full steam first quarter of next year about the time of the elections that is the end of oil subsidy in Nigeria, it will have a natural demise. |

alphaNomega:You are definitely a kid? Buhari Military General will be afraid of any rat soldiers? Maybe you are not aware of what Fela meant by Army Arrangement? Ironically those army arrangement Nigerian soldiers turned politicians are still very much around from Olusegun Obasanjo to Ibrahim Babaginda. |

Buckeyemedia1: That person is not Buhari. Do you know there was a plan to topple GEJ if he did not concede in 2015? The masterminds of this plot are still alive and well. They are waiting for the best time to strike. |

alphaNomega:You must be an Ipobian? Because only an Ipobian will say that person is not President Buhari. Go & sit down Mr Man, he lost fair & square, selfish incompetent incumbent lost the election. I would have even joined the mob to pursue him, if he had tried otherwise. Nonsense. |

Buckeyemedia1: Dangote refinery a will not refine a single drop of oil. It will be the Ajaokuta steel company of 21st century. Everyone knows a functional Dangote refinery will not bring down the price of fuel in Nigeria. Just look at Dangore cement factory and the price of cement today. Why do you think they will allow it run? It will only serve as another avenue to siphon funds for illicit business |

alphaNomega:Who told you Dangote is bringing down the price of gasoline in Nigeria?, you will start paying international rates, if you don’t like it, go & purchase NNPC imported fuel if you would see it. Nobody will force you to buy Dangote petrol, like no one forced you to use Dangote sugar. Secondly to clear your ignorance, Ajaokuta Steel is a Government project, Dangote Petrol Chemical is owned by Dangote Industries, private equity. |

Bobloco: Fuel subsidy doesn't favour the poor at the long run. It is very difficult to explain. It is those businessmen and their cartel at NNPC / government that benefit more from fuel subsidy. It is a deal. Juicy deals. The big boys in that area are now happy. The party has just begun. 18 months is a long period. Congratulations. When Buhari became President in 2015, the only wish of Madam Ngozi Okonjo-iweala is for the Fuel Subsidy to be removed. That was her wish and request to Buhari government. The corruption in oil sector is monumental. I think the government extension by 18 months is to allow Dangote Refineries to begin operations. |
