Please guys do Canada still requires convid-19 test before entry? I have a trip on Tuesday and I haven’t received or done any convid test before

I’ve tried searching online, some place shows they don’t, while some says they still do

anyone who has recently traveled should let me know the current update, please

I was denied initially based on financial situation,

What I did, I submitted the same application with an improved statement of account but I waited 6months to improve my statement of account, which was done by a colleague

How did I do it, I ask him to be paying into my account 500k monthly and I’ll be transferring back 120k, so it looks like there is an inflow and outflow in my account so it won’t look suspicious like I was building the account for the visa reapplication, at the end I applied again and I was approved, then refunded my colleague his total remaining balance, I don’t know if I should be putting this out here because some VOs might have people monitoring Nairaland traveling section cheesy

Fill the form using Adobe reader. Don’t print and sign . At the end you would be required to sign by typing your name. This covers for anywhere signature is required

Thanks for your response, unfortunately I did otherwise. Any idea on how to correct this?

I have just been sent a message by IRCC requesting Medical Exams. I was initially trying to do an upfront medical & I have already done the sputum test at IOM for 2 days. Knowing that is takes about 10 weeks for Sputum test result to be ready, should I proceed with IOM or start a new medicals with Q-Life?

I am set to resume school in September 2022.

Your responses are highly appreciated.

You got it right! I left Nigeria, not for myself, but for the sake of my children. Not confessing negatively, it'll be easy but the children will always find their way faster than we adults the moment they are here.
PatrickOkunima:
Of course, a good number of those traveling abroad are well to do, but it's not always about money. Except we're deceiving ourselves, Nigeria don cast. So, even if you're doing well presently, things can turnaround quickly. Besides, the future of your children is not guaranteed here. Most Nigerians travel out not for themselves, but for their descendants.

If you have already stated medicals and was asked to do additional tests, you have to finish that process. Your details has already been captured and created on the e-medical platform and a number attached to your name, date of birth and passport number. IOM will forward this your initial result on e-medical and IRCC will be aware of your case.
I’m sorry you will have to wait the 10weeks or more.

Maybe someone else has a different answer.. please wait for others to weigh in.

All the best.

Hello gurus in the house

A friend of mine studied biochemistry and she graduated in 2018.

However, she is a make-up artist and she has been working as a make-up artist since she graduated university. Her make up business is also registered and she makes good income.

She wants to go for a post graduate course that relates to her make up business. Will the visa officer see the PG course related to make-up as a career progression?
If so, Please what schools can she apply to in Canada for a make-up/cosmetics related courses.

Thanks.

Hello Qwerty,

As regards the bolded, item one is yes. All she need is well detailed and explanatory purpose of visit in the SOP, aligned to her job and what she stands to gain from acquiring such degree.

For item 2, she may need to do the research by herself or wait for a guru with detailed list of such course and school offering them.

All the best

Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks
