The reason for this heavily armed protection is avoidance of world war 3. If US president is killed in another soil it will ignite a nuclear response from the US. Better to prevent such scenario.

Russia and China. security arrangement during presidential trips is quite expensive. only a rich country with a high-security budget can afford to have as much security detail that is if it is allowed by the host country

yes only if the country he is visiting grants permission and issue the necessary permits for his security details to carry a firearm just like the president and his entourage also require a visa to visit the host country. the security details travel on an official passport but have no diplomatic immunity

First, the US president doesn't travel with "so many soldiers, armed marines and FBI" for his security as alluded to by the OP. That information is very incorrect.

Second, the US president travels with the same compliment usually a very large security team on every foreign trip. Some countries might be considered higher security risk& so more caution is taken, but nothing is left to chance even in friendlier countries
