Delta Police spokesman DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the attack.

He however clarified that the money carted away were “condemned currencies which were being conveyed to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)”.

Bad market for the robbers.....how them go dey feel now as them reach their resting place say na condemned currencies

And if they escape with bullet wound, without hitting any of the officers then the officers deserve high rank in the police force.

I’m surprised you believed the police. Robbers had access to the van, took away money and you said they escaped with bullets wound. Where is the escort and police in the van while they break open d van? That’s a bold and unchallenged step
