Fot any major breakthrough, they'd always be people who think it's crazy. People couldn't ride bicycles properly but that didn't stop mankind from inventing motorcycles and cars. Not everyone is licensed to drive. Not everyone will be licensed to fly. And there's no guarantee flying will be more difficult or dangerous than driving on the highway.
