Nutritionist Warns Against Eating Suya Without Vegetables by ekwe552: 5:45am On Feb 01, 2022
Consumers of "Suya," or barbecued beef, are advised to eat plenty of onions, cabbage, tomatoes, and other vegetables with it.

Skewered beef ram or chicken are commonly used in suya. Kidney, liver, and tripe are some of the innards that are used.

The thinly sliced meat is marinated in a mixture of spices, including peanut cake, salt, vegetable oil, and other seasonings before being barbecued.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Abuja, Ngozi Nnam, Professor of Community and Public Health Nutrition at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, offered the advice.
