I stumbled on a poll on LinkedIn and this question was asked. After I casted my vote...and the results where closed, skill and Certification were almost equal.

I'm asking this in preparation against the opportunities I will apply in few months.
I have been studying data science all by self, I felt mastering the skill is ok to give me the best opportunity. & Here reaction on certification is giving double thought.

Is it necessary to also consider getting certified also.
