Did you jus say osinbajo is only an adviser to his principal, look no matter how branded you make it sound. They are all colossal failures.

Read about Kamala Harris the now US VP. Read about ha antecedent before becoming the US VP and now that she is serving as vp. I bet you, osinbajo should be flogged with canes lol

Everything that Nigeria is experiencing now is the handwork of Buhari, he is the policy maker and executor, everything stops at his table and not Osibanjo. Yes Buhari has not moved this country forward since 2015 and it's all on Buhari. Osibanjo can only advise, Buhari is the decision maker. Osibanjo is not responsible for the bad policies of Buhari. When Buhari was leaving his members of his cabal to assault the judiciary, it was Osibanjo that halted it and he paid dearly for it.[/quote]

Iamolukorede:
My point is with this structure, nothing new will spring up. Bring Jesus Christ of Nazareth into this structure it will take loads of overhaul, why do you think Nigeria celebrate mediocre?, It is because they don't know any better.

Look, if the structure remains like this then nobody should expect a miracle come 2023. If the foundation be destroy what can the righteous do?, This led administration and sisters in politics are colossal failures. We should pause and restructure first, that will help the country to see little light. Doing thesame thing every four to 8 year s and expecting a diff results wouldn't work. However, jus know that these rouges and politicians know the gegs of problems Nigeria is facing but then it is a deliberate attempt and an agenda by them to put the country in a state of comatose and catastrophic situation.

There is no country that as ever prospered either without a great leader or a popular revolt.

uote author=chinchum post=109879023] There is no magic bullet ! Are you suggesting Nigeria should not elect a president in 2023? What is your point? If your point is to let Nigerians know there won't be a monumental change of Nigeria to eldorado with any of the candidates ; i agree with you.

Nigerias change with a great leader will be slow but assuring. Buhari is not great and can not provide what he does not have, he was not an ideal leader, he was only a means to an end to rescue power from the utterly corrupt PDP.
The current government is not open to any major restructuring, it is as glaring as possible, there is no point expecting otherwise. the people benefiting from the current structure do not want a change. The last time a national confab was done in 2014, the outcome was planned to be debated by the same criminals and rogues , political opportunists in the national assesmbly. That is a joke that surely will not produce any tangible result.

As far as i am concerned, Nigeria has never had a great leader since independence. Most Revolutions do not guarantee positive outcomes, in fact it tends to provide a change for bad. A benevolent and intelligent dictator needed? Maybe ! What is the possibility of having one as Nigeria's leader ? zilch!

No magic bullet in sight, a great leader may produce the restructuring you want, but (s)he must be deft and lots of political maneuvering with a support of the people on the street via referendum.

you didnt answer any of the questions i asked:

are those achievements? so u sacking someone is now an achievement? asking service chiefs to go to maiduguri is now considered an achievement? buhari asked his IG to go to benue after people were massacred by fulani herdsmen. he ordered immediate overhaul of SARS...pls where is the overhaul? i guess that is also an achievement. but since u say "he was able to achieve a lot in the space of one month", kindly oblige me.

has the buhari administration been able to move nigeria forward since 2015? did osinbajo contribute to the failure that the buhari administration has become?

how did osinbajo pay dearly for halting what u call the assault on the judiciary by the "members of buharis cabal"?

nobody said buhari isnt the policy maker and executor. u say "buhari has not moved this country forward since 2015 and it's all on Buhari". has osinbajo not supported and worked towards the actualisation of those policies of buhari that havent moved nigeria forward since 2015? has osinbajo not supported and worked towards the actualisation of buharis bad policies of buhari? isnt it osinbajo who always made excuses for the failure of this administration?

However, do you know of underdogs who are ardent restructuring comrades.

I know well that those benefiting from this down trend in the country won't let restructuring happen, but then it will see the light of the day if the youth join their minds and hand in support for a referendum and to re structure.

This pple living lager than live on the expenses of the Nigerian citizens are tiny percentage

No doubt he got what it takes. He got the "credentials", empathy and can really communicate with the people.

Let's take for instance, you have a boss that you are an assistant to, he is the one in charge, he makes all the decisions of the organisation. You as an assistant has no say but all you can do is to advise which he can choose to do or not, in this scenerio, there is nothing you can do to change the organisation as an assistant, there are some policies and advice that we all know are the brainchild of Osibanjo, which are the trader money, anchor borrowers programme and others but the major policies that should drive this country forward, Buhari doesn't take Osibanjo's advice on that, He is the president and he has the final say. Whatever that goes wrong in this country should be on him. You will never see Americans put the blame or failure of the Obama administration on Joe Biden. It's only in Nigeria where people put the blame of a president on his vice. Individuals are different and it's only when you put good people in charge, that's when you truly see their impact not as a vice where he will only represent the president in events.

As for Osibanjo supporting some of the government policies, you will agree with me that some of this government policies are good and there is nothing wrong if Osibanjo supports those policies.

Your hardship started when your PDP ate this country dry.

How does having "facts and figures" make a person best qualified to be president? Do governors not have "facts and figures" before going for 2nd term?

How has osinbajo used the facts and figures to move nigeria forward all this while?
