I'm a graduate of urban and Regional planning and I'm looking forward to doing my Masters abroad, but I'm a bit confused on which area/course I should study. This is because anything relating to environment in Nigeria isn't given the required seriousness compare to other areas and also I'd love to switch to another area of specialization. The other concern is that I'm not very sure if it's possible to just pick up a course from another field without having any certification relating to such field. (e.g Information Technology).

Of course, you can do IT, but it would most likely be a professional master's program because of your background. Regardless, you can still check your options. If you are already vast in IT, some can allow you on to their MSc. program (academic).

Even here in Nigeria, Unilag offers Master of Information Technology for non-CS graduates, so no big deal.
