As late as 1951, the great Awolowo even stood in as legal defense counsel to a Yoruba Oba who was accused by the Crown for abducting and murdering a 2yr old child for ritual purposes. The oba was found guilty by the European justice and duly sentenced to be hung by his neck till death.

The period 1914 to 1960 were the most peaceful, progressive and law abiding periods this useless cursed lands have ever witnessed since the day of creation.
